Progression of Ski boot Technology

Due to the holidays coming closer every day, last minute shopping is on the mind of everyone. Just this weekend I found out that I will recieve this seasons Tom Wallisch Hot Dogger Boots. I presume they will be much more comfy and responsive than my previous boots. The last boots that I had were an old pair of Lange's, primarily made for ski races. These new Full Tilts are made for park skiing, this makes me happy that they make boots just for me. Well not just for me, but for everyone who loves free skiing. The History of the best ski boots is here http://fulltiltboots.com/about.

Skiing media distribution

Many skiers today make video edits of their best tricks, not many of them make alot of money from the edit, but there are also full length movies almost like a blog including video clips of them skiing and also them describing their times. This video below is an example of a small ski edit by Evan Heath off of the video website similiar to youtube, called Vimeo. In my opinion this is what makes skiing great, the fact that it is so easy to film yourself and your friends having fun in the terrain park or anywhere on the mountain. My question for you is what other awesome sports are there that you can take a video camera into the midst of action and create an equally awesome edit?

Air, Rails and Fails

This Blog will try to convey the history of skiing and ski equipment and how it evolved to todays standards. Many of the main stream ski equipment manufacturers have a story of how they have progressed to the technology used today. Many websites selling these products have their story on the website so I will primarily try to find information from reliable sources there.
I was attracted to this topic because I love freeskiing, I hope to convey some of the things that I love in this blog. Some examples are the huge air that you can get, the style of skiers compared to snowboarders, the community of skiers can all get along such as on the website newschoolers.com. This website brings all the best aspects of skiing into one spot including the air, the rails and the fails
